Business plan that had been presented to parishioners had not been presented to diocese. Pastor had previously stated that the preparers of the plan would accompany him when the plan was discussed with the Bishop.

As previously reported in my letter to you dated November 13, 2006, 81 parishioners had signed this Letter of Support after the November 6, 2006 Parish Meeting, and an additional 163 parishioners signed this Letter of Support after the masses held on the following weekend.
CC: Dave and Mary Jean Tarantini, Msgr. Joseph C. Bambera, V.E.
As stated in these Letters of Support, the parishioners support the capital improvement plan that was presented on November 6, 2003, to restore and preserve the church, school, and grounds, and which will repay the debt owed to the diocese. No one has offered any pledges, nor has any pledge or commitment been requested, as we are awaiting an opportunity to present this plan to the Diocese in order to move forward. However, all the parishioners who have signed this Letter of Support understand the fundraising campaigns that will be required, and financial contributions that will be required from the parishioners, as presented during the November 6, 2006 Parish Meeting.
It has been a month since we submitted our report and evaluation of the parishioner support for this plan, nearly two months since the Parish Meeting attended by Regional Vicar Msgr. Bambera, and nearly 15 months since we first met with you to present our proposal and approach to you. We, along with the parishioners are anxious to see this plan be put into action. We urgently request that you advise the Diocese of the desire of the parishioners to move forward with this comprehensive plan, and request a meeting where we can present this plan and obtain approval to initiate the fundraising activities.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this request.
Sincerely,
Anthony S. Foti
