Dear Msgr. Bambera,
The attached letter dated May 31, 2007 was sent by Msgr. Sempa to all the Parishioners of Sacred Heart – St. John Parish. In it he states that he consulted with you, and was directed by Bishop Martino. Please confirm that you and Bishop Martino had knowledge of the content and tone of this letter prior to its mailing.
Also, your presence was dearly missed at the November 6, 2006 parish meeting when I presented my plan to the parish community. I believe you were aware of the meeting, as I recall it was announced at the end of the October 17, 2006 parish meeting you attended. I also recall discussing the debt repayment strategy that would be included in my presentation with you after that October meeting. I was wondering if you were unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict, or you decided not to attend, or were you simply not invited.
Finally, I would like the names and addresses of the members of the Bishop’s Council of Priests.
