Parishioners announce their intention to pursue all remedies to stop the closing of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. They announce the formation of the Council of Parishes in the Dioceses of Scranton, and invite parishioners from other viable parishes in the diocese hurt by the announced church closings to attend an Organizational Meeting to be held February 5, 2009 at 8:00 PM at the North End Slovak Citizen's Club.
